It was very helpful. Suzanne answered our questions and if she didn’t know the answer, she would tell us. She explained her responses in an understandable way such as how a stent works and dietary factors to help keep it working. We discussed low fiber foods and she provided some helpful printed materials. It was time well spent.

Dr. Pitea is treating me for pancreatic stones, a condition I've suffered with for 30 years. Finally getting relief after 7 endoscopic procedures including shock waves. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Pitea for giving me my life back.

In my greatest hour of the unknown, Dr Pitea and his staff scheduled a very timely biopsy. The surgical team was so very professional and caring. It was a terrific experience with balanced feedback on the results, leaving me hopeful and also appropriately guarded about what comes next. THANK YOU!!!!

Except for waiting 1.5 hours after being called back, I felt Dr M did an excellent job of communicating before and after the procedure. He certainly put my mind to rest about my medical situation.

I didn’t meet Dr Mounzer until I was wheeled into the operating room. He took his time explaining what he was going to do, answered all my questions, and had a very calm demeanor about himself. Which I appreciated! After the procedures, he waited for me to completely wake up and then explained everything that occurred. Not all Drs do that!

I was referred to Dr. Rawad Mounzer by my GI Doctor to preform a tricky scoping of my small intestine. I received an email and call from his administrative staff informing me of my prep. meds to take (followed by detailed text of instructions) and also information on hospital layout (where to park and what direction and road to enter area of hospital grounds). It may seem like a small matter but being stressed over small details is not what you need when facing a possible GI issue that was causing me to bleed and causing anemia and making me very weak.
Upon entering the hospital the check in procedure was done in a systematic procedure and took very little time.
The operating team was very reassuring and professional. Best of all my scope went well, a bleed in my small intestine was located and cauterized. I felt no pain, was never made uncomfortable, or felt unassured before or during the procedure. i had a slight sore throat after, but worth it when I can now defeat my anemia and hope not to have repeat GI bleeds in the future.
I would defiantly seek Dr. Mounzer's care again.
